On 09th October Google hosted an event in New York to launch the new pixel devices. This is the 3rd iteration of the google's flagship android phone. The previous two iterations were well received by the enthusiasts, specially in terms of camera , even with a single rear camera they were touted as the best smartphone camera in the flagship android phones. Can the pixel 3 and 3XL will be able to live upto the expectations of the previous two iterations? we will find it out soon.
Now lets start with the specifications of the Both the devices. There are only two major differentiating factors between the Pixel 3 and 3XL, those are Battery capacity and the screen size.
The 3 being on the smaller size with 5.5 inch OLED screen, 18:9 aspect ratio and 2915 mAh where as 3XL is having the screen size of 6.3 inch OLED screen, 18.5/9 aspect ratio and 3430 mAh battery capacity.
Except the screen size differences lets see the common specifications of the Pixel 3 and 3XL.
Processor - Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 at 2.5 Ghz + 1.6 Ghz (64 bit, 8 Cores) with Adreno 640 graphics processor, it also have a dedicated image processing unit named "Pixel Visual Core" and "Titan M" Module for scurity.
Memory - Both of them have 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal storage which is not expandable.
Cameras - Here we have something new specially in the front facing camera department as now we have two front facing camera instead of one in the previous iterations.
Front Facing Cameras - 8 MegaPixel at f/1.8 (Aperture) normal view (75 Degree) and and another 8 MegaPixel camera at f/2.2 (Aperture) for wide angle (97 Degrees) which can record videos in 480,720 and 1080 p at 30 fps (Frames Per Second).
Rear Facing Camera - 12 MegaPixel Dual-Pixel at f/1.8 (Aperture) with Optical as well as Electronic Image Stabilization, Flicker+Spectral Sensor with the field of view of 76 degree and it can record videos 1080p at 30,60 and 120 fps, 720p at 30,60 and 240 fps, and 4K at 30 fps.
Connectivity - Being a flagship it has all the required connectivity options as expected. starting with WiFi it has 2.4Ghz+5.0Ghz 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac , Bluetooth 5.0 + LE, NFC, Google Cast, with GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo.

Sensors - Being a flagship it has a feature called "Active Edge", where you can squeeze your phone and it will prompt the "Google Assistant". Except that it has all the required sensors.
Port - It has a USB Type - C 3.1 Gen 1Port which supports 18W fast charging and can also be used to data syncing and transfer.
Extra Features - It supports AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality) and compatible with Google's DayDream Headset. Plus for audio lovers it has Dual Front Facing Stereo Speakers.
Colors - It comes in three colors - Just Black, Clearly White, and Not Pink.
With the Android 9.0 Pie and guaranteed 3 Years of OS and Security Updates and a starting price of 799$ in US it is a great option for the Vanilla Android Experience.
