Xiaomi has another winner in the form Redmi Note 6 Pro.

On 22nd November 2018 Xiaomi held an event at New Delhi, Where they announced the new Phone in the Redmi lineup. So lets look at what xiaomi has to offer in their brand new redmi note 6 pro.


As its the successor of quite successful redmi note 5 pro which is being selling like hot cakes in the Indian market since its launch. First lets see the basic difference between the Note 5 pro and Note 6 pro which is in the Screen Department it has 6.26 inch 19:9 notch display at 1080p where as the Note 5 pro had 5.99 inch, 18:9 display.

Redmi Note 6 Pro

Processor - Snapdragon 636 (Octa Core) with is based on 14nm Architecture and has Adreno 509 GPU.
 
Memory - it has 4 and 6 GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64 GB of eMMC 5.1 flash storage which can be expended via Micro SD card.

Camera - There are few updates in terms of sensors as the back camera now comes with a wider f 1.9 sensor where as the front loses the flash but get a new second depth sensing lens for the better portrait selfies.

Front Facing Camera - it has a 20 MP primary sensor with an f/(2.0) plus 2MP f/(2.2) depth sensor which has AI portrait selfie, face recognition and selfie timer.

Rear Facing Camera - It has a 12 MP primary sensor with an f/(1.8) plus 5 MP f/(2.2) depth sensor with dynamic bokeh, HDR, Panaroma, Burst mode, facial recognition with EIS for videos.

Connectivity - Although its a budget device it has all the connectivity options like Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4Ghz and 5 Ghz WiFi support, with 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. so there are no compormises are done in the connectivity.

Network - It supports region specific bands that will allow you to get 4G volte in both sims. It supports the following bands for the network connectivity.

Ports - The Redmi note 6 pro has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio and micro usb for charging and data syncing. this is the one area where we could expect to see a USB type C port instead of the Micro usb.

Battery - It has Li-Ion 4000 mAh capacity battery which supports Qualcomm's Quick charge 3.0 which will last you for an entire day with heavy usage.

Extra Features - With MiUi 10 xiaomi has enabled a lot of AI functions which will make the end user experience better.


Colors - It comes in four colors Black, Blue, Red and Rose Gold.

Pricing - It comes in two variants one is 4+64 gb variant which sells for 13999 and 6+64 gb variant which sells for 15999 via Mi.com, flipkart and offline Mi store including Mi preferred partners.
